Canada Promises $400,000 to Nicaragua in Aid

According to InsideCostaRica.com, Canada has promised nearly US$400,000 to the Humanitarian Demining Program in Nicaragua. This donation will be given to Nicaragua through OAS-AICMA (the Organization of American States’ Program for Comprehensive Action against Anti-personnel Mines) to help the country fulfil its obligations as a member country of the Ottawa Convention.
